Alliste (Caddhrìste in Salento dialect) is an Italian town of 6,657 inhabitants in the province of Lecce, Apulia. Located in southern Salento, it also includes the hamlet of Felline and the coastal resorts of Capilungo and Posto Rosso. Alliste lies in a valley between the "Serra Eastern" and "Serra coast", by the coast of the Ionian Sea. The area is characterized by minor hills, formed by compact Mesozoic limestones. The coast is low and rocky, and the plain is made up of more recent formations.
