Morigino is a hamlet of the town of Maglie, in the province of Lecce. It was an independent municipality until the second half of the 19th century. Set in eastern Salento, it lies on the road that connects Maglie to Cursi, 2 km from the municipal capital and about 30 km from Lecce. Probably the name of the country indicates that it was founded by the Saracen.
