Corigliano d'Otranto is an Italian town of 5,916 inhabitants in the province of Lecce in Apulia. Located 24.9 km from the provincial capital, belongs to the historic region of "Grecìa Salentina" linguistic island of nine municipalities in which "griko" (ancient language of Greek origins) is spoken. The territory of the town of Corigliano d'Otranto, which extends into the central part of the province for 28,06 square kilometers, is totally flat. The city center is located at 97 above sea level.
