Lequile is an Italian town of 8,687 inhabitants in the province of Lecce in Apulia. Set in Salento, in the Valle della Cupa, is one of the first municipalities in the urban belt of Lecce, whose center is 5 km to the south. It also includes the village of Dragoni. The town of Lequile extends along the old provincial road that connected Lecce to Gallipoli. The municipality, whose extension is 36.36 km ², is characterized by a predominantly flat morphology; the altitude reaches a maximum height of 69 m above sea level.
