Castrignano de' Greci (or Castrignano dei Greci, Kastrignàna or Kascignàna in griko, Castrignanu in Salento dialect) is an Italian town of 4,062 inhabitants of Lecce's province in Apulia. The territory of the municipality extends into the central part of the province of Lecce for 9.52 km ² and it is totally flat. The town is located at 90 meters above sea level.; is 26.3 kilometers from the capital, 18 km from Otranto and 34 km from Gallipoli. The morphology of flat land and mild climate favors the cultivation of plants typical of the Mediterranean. The center is surrounded by cultivated land with olive trees, fig trees, almond trees and vineyards.
