Mother Church of the Sacred Heart
The mother church of the Sacred Heart, founded in the 14th century on the site where, according to tradition, the Virgin Cesaria has passed away. It was entrusted to the Minor Friars in 1924, who replaced it with a new building. It became a parish in 1954. It features a sober facade with central portal and rose window. The interior has three naves, ending in the sanctuary that houses the altar surmounted by the statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Of artistic interest is the papier mache statue of the Holy Virgin Cesaria.
