Menhir of Colonna di San Leonardo

It is what remains of an ancient menhir. The column consists of two superimposed stumps and is tapered at the top: the deep horizontal fracture that divides it into two parts is the result of repeated knock downs occurred over time.
It takes its name from an ancient chapel dedicated to San Leonardo, situated nearby and demolished in the late 19nth century.
