Pizzo's tower

It's located in the Municipality of Gallipoli, in the town of Punta Pizzo. It was built for defensive purposes in 1569 and was commissioned by Charles V for the defense of the Salento peninsula. An external staircase allows access to the inside through a small door on the first floor.
