Coastal Watchtowers / Castro (LE)
Diso tower
Diso tower is situated in the Municipality of Castro. Like the majority of coastal towers, it was built in the early 16th century by Charles V, for defense against the Saracens. It rises on a sierra of 110 meters and it's almost completely collapsed. In the past it communicated with Miggiano's tower to the north and Capo Lupo's tower to the south.
