In Portoselvaggio, added to the Italian Environmental Fund's list of the 100 places to save, we can find unforgettable sights. It's not easily accessed and so its nature and sea environment is peaceful even in summer. Since 2007, the municipality of Porto Cesareo is home to a protected marine area and the Palude del Conte e Duna Costiera natural reserve. Sandy coasts, some small islands and crystal clear waters make this a pearl of the Ionian Sea.
