Santa Maria di Leuca, an hamlet of Castrignano del Capo, at 80km from Lecce. It hosts the De Finibus Terrae sanctuary, one of Italy's tallest lighthouses, and the monumental waterfall of the Apulian Aqueduct. The surrounding area is a constellation of caves, divided into three systems, Rada, Ponente and Levante. Heading back to Gagliano del Capo, there is Ciolo, which is the first in a series of coastal must-sees between Santa Maria di Leuca and Otranto.
