Church of San Francesco della Scarpa
San Francesco della Scarpa is a church in the historic center of Lecce.
Unlike most other churches of the city it has no facade, due to the 19th century works that absorbed good part of the church in the colonnade of the former Palmieri boarding school.
The interior has a greek cross plan and preserves only four of the ten original altars.
Of considerable size is the giant paper mache statue depicting San Giuseppe, modeled in 1833 by Oronzo Greco and placed in the chancel.
