Castri di Lecce (commonly called Castrì Lecce) is an Italian town of 3,010 inhabitants of the province of Lecce in Puglia. Located in the Adriatic hinterland of Salento, it is 13.4 km from the provincial capital to the south-east. Castri di Lecce is the result of the union of two separate houses (Castriguarino and Castrifrancone), reunited at the end of the 19th century, giving rise to the current municipality. The urban center of Castri di Lecce extends itself on Serra di Galugnano's plain, made ??of ground limestone and clay, with the presence of spring water. Situated in the north-eastern part of the province, the municipality lies between 33 and 51 m above sea level.
