Civic Museum of History and Archaeology of Oil and Wine Civilizations

The museum was opened in June 2003. Along with the library, is housed in the ground floor rooms of the Castle.
The collections include everyday objects and traditional tools, testimonies of rural life from the 16th century and the first fifty years of the 20th century, associated with typical products of the territory of Massafra. In April 2005 was staged a permanent exhibition of the Bottega Carradore or Master of the Axe. From 12 April 2007, the museum has become part of the Fund for the Italian Environment.
