Mattoni tower
It is an anti-Saracen tower on the outskirts of the hamlet of Marina di Ginosa (in the province of Taranto), near the border with Basilicata. The tower was built in the 16th century to defend the coast from the Turks. Today it is in a state of disrepair, due to the near impossibility of reaching the tower.
