Castelluccia tower
It is a tower located in Marina di Pulsano, in the province of Taranto, on a plateau that bears its name inside the Caggione Forest and overlookis the bay of Lido Silvana. The forest in which the tower is located has been a popular destination for Italian and foreign tourists when, before the fire of 2001, it housed an international camp, which was destroyed. Near the tower was discovered, thanks to the excavations of 1948-1952, one of the oldest villages in the Gulf of Taranto, which dates back to the 14th century BC and is placed in the Bronze Age, in the early history.
