Borraco tower

Borraco Tower is an ancient tower located in the town of Manduria and formerly belonging to the estate of Maruggio. Left abandoned to the elements for many decades, the tower was falling apart. The roof had collapsed and inside the structure a fig tree grew spontaneously. In 2011 and for the next two years, it has undergone a complete restoration and the construction of a staircase. At 500 meters to the west of the tower there's a small creek, the Borraco creek.
