Church of Madre di Dio
Madre di Dio is a baroque church whose construction dates back to 1631.
It has a simple yet graceful facade animated by a highly decorated portal with columns by Cesare Penna, who also sculpted the relief frieze depicting the duel between David and Goliath and the statue of the Archangel Michael defeating the devil. Other decorative elements are a window frame and a rich garland adorning the frieze of the entablature.
The interior of the nave features a vaulted ceiling covered by ribs.
