Church of San Giacomo

The origins of the church dates back to the late 14th century, when Raimondo Del Balzo Orsini built a small chapel dedicated to San Giacomo Apostolo. Subsequently, during the middle of the 15th century,it was revised and enlarged by his son Giovanni Antonio.
The local stone façade is divided into three levels. The first has a large portal surmounted by an architrave, on which a niche houses the statue of San Giacomo, the higher order houses a small central window, while the third ends with a slendered pediment.
The interior, a simple single nave floor plan with a Latin cross plan, has four altars on the sides.
