Church of Santa Maria degli Angeli (Gallipoli)
The Church of Santa Maria degli Angeli is a brotherhood of the old town of Gallipoli. Built in the second half of the 17th century, it is located along the perimeter of the walls, in front of St. Andrew's Island. The church was entrusted in 1662 to the homonymous brotherhood.
The simple façade has two entrance portals. At the center is placed a large tiled panel depicting the Madonna degli Angeli with the background of the lighthouse of St. Andrew's Island and some rocks of the Camp and the Pigeons.
The interior contains large 18th century paintings.
