Saints Peter and Paul Church
This is the mother church of Galatina and has a spectacular baroque façade.
The earthquake of 1743 caused serious damage during the second half of the century and the church was later subjected to various renovations.
In the lower order of the facade are three portals and two decorated windows, while in the middle area there's a front door bordered by a double row of columns supporting an architrave with the date 1633. In the upper order the two pilasters delimit the central space in which they are inserted a richly adorned window and two niches containing the statues of St. Tryphon and St. Paul.
